Njirich & Sons, Inc. is a third-generation women owned business with a General Engineering A license. N&S was started in 1967 by our grandfather George Mitchell Njirich, then incorporated in 1988 under Shelly Njirich. When starting the company, George had not a dream of being rich, but a desire to create a legacy for his family to be proud of. With hard work, honesty and relentless attitude being his core values, his dream would soon come true excelling the company’s success. It would be those same values that have been handed down to each generation where they have dedicated themselves to being a leader in the industry.

     In the past 55 years, N&S has gone from a small family business to one of the larger employers in Tuolumne County. N&S builds roadways, building pads, dams, water and underground projects from common residence to the large industrial complex, material hauling and much more.

 N&S continues to excel in rough terrain construction located in rural areas far from town. Being based out of the foothills near the Sierra Mountains, N&S specializes in rocky terrain excavation. We’ve helped countless clients with the success of their developments, even when it appeared impossible to construct. Over the years N&S partners with clients to develop work plans that makes safety the top priority. Our team of professionals has decades of collective experience in a diverse array of civil and construction engineering projects with a proven record of exceptional work, completed on time and within budget.
